Club Play is an opportunity for the beginner and intermediate junior golfer to learn the game of golf as it is played on the golf course, in a organized format with other juniors. Open to our advanced players as well, our Club Play will give them a chance to sharpen their game skills and practice at various golf courses on the island.

Junior golfers are encouraged to participate! BIJGA membership must be current. Children age groups: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18.

Aloha Everybody,

We are excited to announce our second Club Play event of the year, and it is right around the corner. This is an all ages event, limited to the first 40 players; those who sign up past that will be waitlisted. Once registration closes we will message those players who are confirmed and those on the waitlist. 

We recognize that new players start playing golf at all ages. If your junior is 11 and older, but you feel that they aren't quite ready to walk 18 holes without a caddy, we may be able to make some adjustments. Please email sheena@bijga.org for consideration.

The weather can be cold and windy at Makani, so please plan accordingly like wind breakers or jackets for your juniors and sunscreen. With so many new and younger players, we will likely need additional walking scorekeepers for the 12 and under groups. Please sign up where you are available. Families with ages 12 and under juniors, we highly encourage you to volunteer for these positions.

Junior Golfers will observe BIJGA rules, USGA rules, and Course rules. Players must be current members of BIJGA and properly wear club shirts. BIJGA Scorecards will be issued at the first tee. Juniors shall report their scores at the end of their round to the score table.
