The Inaugural Hilo Golf Classic was hosted by Hilo Junior Golf in 1982. Today, the Classic is the only major fundraiser sponsored by the current junior golf program now known as Big Island Junior Golf Association. Proceeds from this tournament are used to subsidize the costs of its program events. Each year, help is sought to recruit family and friends to complete the entry form to secure a spot in the field of a maximum of 180 players. The format of the tournament has varied between two person and three person modified scramble based on 25% of the team members handicap and with staggered prizes.

We are thrilled to invite you to the 39th Annual Hilo Golf Classic, hosted by the Big Island Junior Golf Association! Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course for a fantastic day of golf, camaraderie, and support for our local junior golfers.
This year’s format will be a Two-Person Modified Scramble, with great prizes, food, and fun!

Entry Fee:
- $250 Early Bird Special (Register by February 28, 2025)
- $300 Regular Entry (Deadline: March 19, 2025)
- $700 Hole Sponsor Team (Includes 2 teams & sponsorship benefits)
Your participation directly supports over 100 junior golfers in our community, helping them develop their skills and continue the tradition of golf on the Big Island.
