All players 8 years old and younger have the option to be accompanied by someone 15 years old or older to serve as their caddie. We encourage you to take advantage of this privilege.

• Enjoy this experience with your junior golfer. Work together as a team. 
• Be a positive role model for our junior golfers, and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating positive support for all players, officials and spectators. 
• Teach your junior golfer that doing one's best is more important than winning, so that he/she will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game or his/her performance. 
  
• Praise your junior golfer for competing fairly and trying hard. 
  
• Never ridicule or yell at your junior golfer or other participants for making a mistake or losing a competition. 
  
• Promote the emotional and physical well-being of the competitors, ahead of any personal desire you may have for your junior golfer to win. 
  
• Learn the rules of the game through the USGA Rules of Golf. 
  
• Remember that a rules violation by you, the caddie, is the same as if your junior golfer violated the rule. 
  
• You should be aware of the basic rules and assist your junior golfer in accordance with the rules. 
• Call for a rules official when a situation and its correct resolve is not clear. 
• Do not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, player, or parent such as refusing to shake hands, using profane language or gestures. 
• If a caddie becomes disruptive to the point of receiving a formal complaint, the caddie may be removed by the tournament or club play committee.
